Kimberly Aime (MA, Ohio State University) blogs and maintains steady work as a freelancer, including two book deals. Through her classes, she helps other writers use social media to create an online presence and writing portfolio.
Tami Bahr LCSW, CSAC, ICS, EAGALA Certified, is the owner of Triquestrian, LLC, an Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program. She is also a therapist at Open Door Center for Change, LLC and a full time Lecturer at Edgewood College. Tami is on the Executive Committee for the Recovery Coalition of Dane County and is the Wisconsin Network Group Coordinator for EAGALA.

Antonio Benitez-Noguera (PhD in Spanish, UW-Madison) is from Madrid, where he managed his own company for many years. He has taught language and culture courses at UW-Madison, Edgewood College, and Minnesota State University.
CHRISTOPHER S. BOVEROUX
Christopher S. Boveroux is a doctoral student in Choral Conducting at UW-Madison. His research interests include music from the Renaissance and Baroque, as well as music from underrepresented composers. He also serves as Director of Music at First Baptist Church of Madison.
LISA BOYLE, MD
Lisa Boyle , MD is board certified in geriatric psychiatry, psychiatry, and psychosomatic medicine. She is on the faculty of UW-Madison's School of Medicine and Department of Psychiatry, and is the director of the Geriatric Fellows program at the School of Medicine. Dr. Boyle received her Medical degree from UW Madison, and completed her residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center and her fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, NY. Her clinical practice in geriatric psychiatry is with the Middleton Veterans Hospital in Madison, WI.
Patricia Brennan (PhD, UW-Madison) is Lillian S. Moehlman-Bascom Professor of Nursing and Industrial Engineering at UW-Madison. She developed a series of web-based interventions designed to reduce isolation and improve self-care among home care patients. She is also National Program Director of Project HealthDesign, an RWJ–funded initiative designed to stimulate the next generation of personal health records. Brennan is fellow of both the American Academy of Nursing (1991) and the American College of Medical Informatics (1993) and in 2002 was elected to the Institute of Medicine.
Robert Breslow is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist (BCPS) and is an associate professor in the School of Pharmacy at UW Madison where he runs the geriatric pharmacy clinic and teaches. He has over 25 years of experience in general and geriatric pharmacy.
Scott Caldwell (MA) is a licensed substance-abuse counselor who has trained professionals working with youth in health care, schools, juvenile justice, and human services.
Joshua Calhoun (PhD, University of Delaware) is an assistant professor in the Department of English at the UW-Madison and a faculty affiliate at the Nelson Institute's Center for Culture, History, and Environment (CHE).
James Campbell (PhD), faculty member and associate dean for UW-Madison Continuing Studies, previously served as interim dean and vice provost for lifelong learning. He also coordinates the UW-Madison Conference on Child Sexual Abuse, which draws 800-1,000 participants every year.
Otehlia Cassidy is an energetic dancer/educator whose interpretations of traditional West African dance movement reveal artistry steeped in experience. She has traveled numerous times to Mali and Guinea, studying traditional dances within their cultural context, and continues to study with Malian and Guinean dancers in the U.S.

Suzanna Waters Castillo (MSSW, PhD, UW-Madison) is a Distinguished Faculty Associate at Continuing Studies. As director of professional development in geriatric mental health, she developed the Mental Health and Older Adult Certificate series, the only regional, evidence-based training for professionals working with older adults.
SUZANNA CASTILLO WATERS
Christopher Chambers is an experienced editor, teacher, and writer. He's the author of Delta 88, a book of short fiction. His work has been published widely in magazines and anthologies, including Best American Mystery Stories, and has received 5 Pushcart Prize nominations and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship.
Arsenio Cicero (PhD, UW-Madison), a native of Havana and an experienced Spanish instructor who has taught extensively in Wisconsin. He is interested in combining language and culture in the classes he teaches.
Amy Clay (MA, University of Caen) is a PhD candidate in second language acquisition. She has lived and taught in Normandy, France and has extensive teaching experience in a variety of settings.
Jessica Courtier (PhD, UW-Madison) is the Program Director in Music and Performing Arts at Continuing Studies. She oversees noncredit courses in music and dance as well as collaborative projects with other on- and off-campus arts partners. She also teaches courses in music culture and history.
JULIE M. DAHL
Julie M. Dahl (PhD, UW-Madison) directs the Continuing Studies Spanish programs and has extensive experience teaching adult language learners in a variety of contexts in the U.S. and abroad. Her area of expertise is contemporary Spanish and Portuguese culture and language for business.
Kristin Dalby (MA Applied Linguistics & TESOL) is an instructor in the ESL Program at UW-Madison. She has taught in many different types of classrooms, from business English to English for academic purposes, from intensive English programs to teacher training and even exam preparation. Her ESL career has taken her to live and work in many places including the Czech Republic, New Zealand and South Korea. Although Kristin enjoys teaching all ESL skills, oral communication classes are her favorite.
Maggie Delaney-Potthoff performs throughout the United States and Europe with the highly acclaimed band Harmonious Wail. One of Madison's finest jazz vocalists, she is also a private vocal coach and a recording artist.
Christine DeSmet is an award-winning writer of novels and screenplays who teaches fiction and screenwriting and mentors other writers at UW-Madison. Her mystery series debuted with First-Degree Fudge. She directs the annual June UW-Madison Write-by-the-Lake Writer's Workshop & Retreat where she teaches a Master Class for novelists.
Lori Devoti has garnered excellent reviews for her teaching at Write-by-the-Lake Writer's Workshop & Retreat and at Writers' Institute. The author of urban fantasy, contemporary romance, and paranormal romance, she's been a finalist for many awards.
Stella Dobbins (MA, University of Houston) is an artist and art historian who exhibits her artwork nationwide and is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society.
Robbi Dreifuerst (MS, UW-Madison) leads the Leadership and Management program area and directs the Wisconsin Certified Public Manager Program. She is a member of the American Academy of Certified Public Managers and the Community Partnerships and Outreach (CPO) Staff Network at UW-Madison.
Robert Enright (PhD), a licensed psychologist and a professor of educational psychology at UW-Madison, has been a leader in the scientific study of forgiveness and its effects since 1985. He is the author of more than 100 publications including five books. His recent work has been in schools within conflict regions such as Belfast, Northern Ireland, assisting teachers to deliver forgiveness programs to students.

Donna Erez Navot (JD, Cardozo Law School) directs the Mediation Clinic at the UW-Madison Law School. She worked in the Child Permanency Mediation Program of the New York City Family Court, where she mediated placement of children in foster care.
Deneille Erikson is a PhD candidate in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese specializing in Spanish Literature and cultural studies. She has taught all levels of Spanish language classes to all ages.
BETH FAHLBERG, PHD
Beth Fahlberg PhD, RN, is a Program Director for Continuing Studies and is a board certified adult and geriatric nurse practitioner. Beth is a national leader in the palliative care movement with a focus on the importance of meeting the physical and psycho-social end-of-life care needs of older adults.

Steve Fondow (PhD in Spanish linguistics, The Ohio State Univversity) is an associate lecturer in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at UW-Madison, specializing in Spanish morphology, phonology, and grammar. He also studied at the Universidad de la Complutense in Madrid, Spain.
Thais Fonseca (MA, UW-Madison). Thais Passos Fonseca is a Brazilian Portuguese translator and instructor. She has a MS in Agroecology and an MA in Latin American, Caribbean and Iberian Studies. Born and raised in Brazil, she loves introducing others to her language through teaching and translation.

Adriana Fonseca Vargas (PhD candidate, UW-Madison) is from San José, Costa Rica, where she taught Spanish as a second language to international students. She studies Latin American literature at UW-Madison, where she has taught beginning, intermediate and advanced Spanish language classes.
Leigh Garcia (MFA candidate, UW-Madison and BFA, University of North Texas) has assisted at the P.R.I.N.T. Press, Pan Ector Industries, and worked as a printmaking studio maintenance assistant. She is the project assistant to John Hitchcock.
Chariti Gent (MS, Univ. of Colorado, CPCC, PCC) founded Chariti Gent Coaching and Consulting. She received her professional coach training from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI). She is on the board of directors of the Wisconsin Women Entrepreneurs, is an active member of Phenomenal Women Wisconsin, and regularly volunteers her time and talents to train up-and-coming coaches. Chariti Gent Coaching and Consulting is a global member of the International Coaching Federation.
Kathy Germann (M.A., Ohio State Univ.) has taught, consulted, and coached for over 30 years. She practices radical hospitality and supports others in building organizations where people treat each other with uncompromising respect and dignity.
Sage Goellner (PhD, UW-Madison) is an assistant professor of French at UW-Madison and directs Continuing Studies programs in French.
Lauren Goodspeed (MA, UW-Madison) has lived in Lyon, France, and is pursuing her PhD in Second Language Acquisition.
Luisa Gregori Luisa Gregori (MA, Linguistics, University of Pisa) is an award-winning Italian Instructor and is currently completing her doctorate in Italian Literature.
Al Guyant (BS, UW-Milwaukee) is president of Guyant & Associates in Madison, a training and consulting firm specializing in human communications and services. He is a nationally recognized trainer, facilitator, media coach, and author with more than 35 years of experience.
Lisa Hajek has maintained a regular yoga practice for 20 years and has taught the Iyengar Method for ten. She has studied twice in India under the direction of the Iyengar family and is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher.
Sandy Hardie is Executive Director of Mahala's Hope, a certified Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor, Independent Clinical Supervisor and Certified Trauma Specialist and has worked in the substance abuse field for over 25 years specializing in women and trauma for 15 of those years.
Kathleen Heinen (MFA, UW-Madison) has taught drawing, design, painting, watercolor, and life drawing at UW-Madison and Madison College.
JARED W. HENDRICKSON
Jared W. Hendrickson (PhD candidate, UW-Madison) specializes in 20th- and 21st-century Portuguese and Luso-African literature. He has studied at the Universidade de Coimbra in Portugal and has extensive teaching experience.
Jamie Henke (PhD, UW-Madison) is a distinguished faculty associate at UW-Madison. She teaches music for UW-Madison Continuing Studies and music theory for nonmajors at the School of Music. She is a recipient of the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Flo Hilliard MS is a Faculty Associate with the division and has lectured throughout the state and nationally on many Substance Use Disorders topics including the special issues of women, adolescents, culture and neuroscience. She is the program director of the Substance Abuse and Motivational Interviewing Certificate Programs and the director of Wisconsin Voices For Recovery, a statewide project that advocates for reducing stigma, raising awareness and providing education around the science of addiction and recovery.
Timothy Howell (MD) is a board certified geriatric psychiatrist. He has extensive clinical experience in geriatric psychiatry at both UW-Madison School of Medicine and the VA. He is also the designer of the Wisconsin Star Method of complex geriatric case analysis.
Christine Inthachith (MA, UW-Madison), provides leadership and coordination for non-credit programs in the Division of Continuing Studies developed for international audiences, and she serves as the Director of the American Culture and English residential program (ACE). She has extensive international experience, including consulting, teaching and volunteer work in Southeast Asia and Central America.
Andrew Irving (PhD, UW-Madison) is an award-winning instructor, academic adviser, and technologist. He teaches intermediate French and currently serves as the director of the French House.
Angela Janis (MD)is director of psychiatry at University Health Services at UW-Madison. She serves on a number of medical boards including Wisconsin Medical Society and Wisconsin Psychiatric Association, and she is president-elect of the Dane County Medical Society.
Gabriel Javier M.Ed. currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of the LGBT Campus Center, Division of Student Life, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to working at UW-Madison, Gabe was the Senior Assistant Director of the University of Michigan Spectrum Center, the nation's first college/ university office dedicated to student services for lesbian and gay students. Gabe is past co-Chair of the National Consortium of LGBT Higher Education Professionals and past Chair of Administration for the Standing Committee for LGBT Issues of the American College Personnel Association.
Denise Jess has facilitated trainings on a wide range of human relations issues since the mid-1980s, including teaching in a learner-centered classroom for 11 years. She is committed to creating inclusive environments where all voices are respected.
JULIE TALLARD JOHNSON
Julie Tallard Johnson , MSW, is an award-winning author of 10 nonfiction books, her first one published in 1989 through Doubleday (Hidden Victims: Hidden Healers: An Eight Stage Healing Process for Families of the Mentally Ill). She received the Independent Book award for Best Multicultural Book for Youth for The Thundering Years and a Star Review in Publisher's Weekly for Teen Psychic. Julie has also written numerous articles for local papers and online magazines. The Midwest Review (2016) published her short story, Last Call. She writes a popular weekly blog: ALL-WRITE Wednesdays: World Into Word. Julie enjoys working with aspiring writers and has helped many writers become authors.
TIMOTHY JUERGENS, MD
Timothy Juergens Dr. Juergens is a Clinical Assistant Professor of psychiatry with the University of Wisconsin SMPH and director of the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital Comprehensive Sleep Program. He specializes in psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry, and is board certified in geriatric psychiatry, sleep medicine and psychiatry.

Leah C. Kang earned her Master of Music and Performer Diploma in Piano Performance from Indiana University, Bloomington. She has previously been on the faculty of Antelope Valley College, Citrus College, and has taught music theory as Associate Instructor at IU. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Piano Performance at UW-Madison, where she is a teaching assistant.
Oxana Khramova (MM, University of Northern Iowa) is a teaching assistant in the UW-Madison School of Music. An All-Russian Piano Competition prize winner, she holds a degree from the Nizhny Novgorod Conservatory in Russia and enjoys teaching students at all levels.

NANCY DUNN KURR
Nancy Dunn Kurr (BA in viola performance, UW-Madison), has been teaching Continuing Education courses for over a decade. She teaches strings in the Waunakee Schools, runs a private strings studio, and is an active chamber musician in the Madison area.
Steve Kurr (MM, UW-Madison) has taught continuing education music courses for more than a decade. He is conductor of the Middleton Community Orchestra and teaches orchestra and music history at Middleton High School.

Samie Laine Scott (BFA, UW-Madison) focuses in painting and printmaking. She received multiple scholarships to pursue her studies, and holds an Art Education Certificate. A partner at Lost Lake Collective, Medford, WI, Samie creates printed textile and other functional works.
Barbara Landes (MFA, UW-Madison) is an artist and instructor working primarily with handmade paper. She taught papermaking and bookmaking at UW-Madison, was the artist-in-residence at the Madison Public Library, and was awarded an artist residency at the Women's Studio Workshop.
Faith Lerner (MS) is a clinical team leader and therapist at the Journey Mental Health Center.
David Leventhal is Program Director and one of the founding teachers of MMDG's Dance for PD¿ program, a collaboration with the Brooklyn Parkinson Group that offers weekly classes for people with Parkinson's at the Mark Morris Dance Center, fosters similar classes in more than 100 communities in nine countries around the world, and presents regular training workshops for teachers interested in leading Dance for PD¿ classes. He is the co-recipient of the 2013 Alan Bonander Humanitarian Award for his efforts to make the Dance for PD¿ program widely available.
Joshua Ludke (art education, UW-Madison; art therapy, UW-Superior) draws, paints, and makes prints and is a substitute teacher for the Madison Schools.
Darcy Luoma (MS in organization development, Pepperdine University) is a leadership coach and organization development specialist and the owner of Darcy Luoma Coaching & Consulting, LLC. She is a master certified coach and was voted Madison's favorite coach.
Nathaniel Maddux (PhD, UW-Madison) has traveled all over the Spanish-speaking world and taught students of all ages in university, immersion, and study abroad settings. His interests include bilingualism, Spanish-language acquisition, and Spanish dialectology.
Andrea Magermans (PhD,UW-Madison) has taught a wide variety of French language, literature, civilization, and culture courses. She has also studied, worked, conducted research, and traveled in French-speaking Europe, Quebec, and the South Pacific.
DAWN J. MAHONEY
Dawn J. Mahoney is a certified professional in learning and performance and an experienced talent development professional who is passionate about learning strategy, training, and instructional and presentation design. She also coaches leaders to provide effective feedback, facilitate better meetings, and strengthen their teams.
Teresa Mangin , MD is board certified in neurology, specializing in movement disorders with a focus on Parkinson's disease and dementia. She is the Medical Director for the Wisconsin chapter of the American Parkinson's Disease Association, is on the faculty at the UW-Madison School of Medicine Department of Neurology, and is a clinician at UW Health Clinics. She earned her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, completed her residency at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and completed her fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Mangin will address the clinical aspects of Parkinson's disease and Lewey Body Dementia.
Sarah Marty (MAB, MS, BA, UW-Madison) directs theatre programs for Continuing Studies, teaches arts entrepreneurship, and is producing artistic director of Four Seasons Theatre.
Perri Mayes (JD) has been a respected mediator and trainer for more than 20 years. A former instructor for UW-Milwaukee's graduate certificate program in mediation, she is the director/clinical instructor with the UW Law School's Mediation Clinic.
David Mays (MD, PhD) is the past forensic clinical director at the Mendota Mental Health Institute in Madison. He also serves on the clinical faculty at UW-Madison and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Amy McFarland is a ragtime, classical, swing, and folk music enthusiast who has played piano for more than 30 years. She teaches music and dance to individuals and groups, and has performed for dances, concerts, and festivals throughout the U.S.
Anne McGuire has an academic background in psychology and is a Certified Professional Life Coach with a private practice in LaGrange Park, IL. She sees her work as a life coach focusing in two directions. She aims at assisting her clients to come to a place of healing in the midst of their past losses. (She is a former recipient of the UW-Madison Grief Support Services Certificate.) After leading them to a place of healing from the past, she focuses on equipping them for the future by shining a light on their uniqueness, gifts, strengths, sorrows, joys and coping skills.
Laura Medisky is an AmSAT-certified teacher of the Alexander Technique, and has taught lessons and group classes for more than 15 years.
Aphra Mednick (LCSW, MSW, Smith College) has clinical and supervisory experience with a variety of populations. Currently she is an outreach specialist in the Dept. of Professional Development and Applied Studies, UW-Madison Continuing Studies.
Roberta Mell (MA, Italian gastronomy, Universitá degli Studi di Scienze Gasronomiche) lives in Parma and has pioneered the introduction of heirloom tomatoes into Italy.
Barbara Nehls-Lowe (MPH, DMin) joined Continuing Studies after nearly 20 years in cancer control work. She has recruited for the Peace Corps and has taught community college courses in rural sociology and psychology. Barbara began her career in WI working in HIV/AIDS education with the Department of Public Instruction.
Robert Newton (PhD, UW-Madison) teaches online and in the classroom at UW-Madison. His research and teaching interests are in the areas of oral and performance traditions in West Africa and Celtic regions of the world. He has performed traditional Irish music for over 35 years.
Paul Novak (PhD, UW-Madison) has studied yoga and hard and soft martial arts for many years.
Kristin Oakley (JD, UW-Madison) is a freelance writer, past president of the professional writers' organization In Print, and a board member of the Chicago Writers Association. She has led a wide variety of writing workshops and critiqued other writers' work extensively.

Erin J. Paul (PhD, UW-Madison) has extensive experience teaching all levels of Spanish language and literature classes. She also taught business Spanish and online courses.
Donna Peckett (BA, art history) is the producing artistic director of TAPIT/new works. She is a tap dancer, actor, educator, specialist in dance and drama for young children, and award-winning choreographer.

Kim Petersen (MD) is a board certified geriatrician and president of Elder Advocates. He serves as a consultant and trainer in dementia care across the country.
Tara Potter After losing her husband at age 31, Tara was faced with raising two young children, helping them understand and adjust to losing a father at a young age. She eventually transformed her personal experiences in grief, her background in both business and education, and her degree in psychology into her current employment as Continuing Care Coordinator for the eight offices of Cress Funeral Services. She has done numerous presentations on her unique work, including a presentation at the International Death, Grief and Bereavement Conference, presenting a workshop on various creative employment possibilities and opportunities in grief counseling.
Bridget Powell (MA, OMDE) is program manager and online instructor for Continuing Studies Distance Education Professional Development programs. She designs, teaches, and evaluates online certificate programs. Bridget retired from the Air Force in Dec 2013.
Christopher Powers has worked as a professional acoustic musician for more than 30 years, playing and recording with many string bands in folk, bluegrass, country-blues, and jazz. He hosts a weekly radio program on WORT-FM and performs locally with several bands.
Cynthia Quinn is a signature member of the Midwest Watercolor Society and has taught graphic design, oil painting, and watercolor for Madison College and Continuing Studies.
PETER D. RIOS
Peter D. Rios plays conga with the Madison-based band Grupo Candela. He specializes in various percussion instruments and is inspired to pass along skills to the next generation of percussionists.
OLIVIA C. RIVARD
Olivia C. Rivard (BFA, BA, University of Minnesota) received training in Paris at Studio Harmonic and the Centre de Danse du Marais. She organizes and teaches her own modern dance technique classes for adults and works as part of the Bare Bones Dance Collective.
Kenneth Robbins (MD) is a board-certified geriatric psychiatrist and geriatrician with more than 20 years of experience in providing care to older adults. He is the medical director for the geriatric psychiatry unit at Stoughton Hospital.
Faith Russell is a certified Iyengar yoga instructor and has been teaching in Madison for more than 20 years. She works with diverse groups of students and is well versed at adapting yoga poses to be useful for all students.
Angela Rydell (MFA, Warren Wilson College), has been a writing coach and instructor for Continuing Studies since 2006. She's a recipient of the
Poets & Writers'
Writers Exchange Award and a Pushcart Prize nominee. Her fiction and poetry have been published in many journals.
Noelle Rydell is an editor, author, and librarian. She has a bachelor's degree in English and a Master's in Library and Information Science from UW-Madison. She was an editor for the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters. Her story "Hooks" won first prize in
short fiction contest. Her poetry has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Her poetry and fiction have appeared in many publications and anthologies.
Philip Salamone (BA, UW-Madison) studied classical drawing and painting in New York City at the Art Students League, Water Street Atelier, and Grand Central Academy. He is an award-winning artist and muralist with paintings on UW-Madison campus and Epic in Verona, WI.
Laura Saunders (MSSW), is with the Dept. of Family medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health and for 15 years has provided MI training to physicians, nurses, medical students, psychologists, addiction-treatment providers, social workers, physical therapists, and health educators. A member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT), Laura has provided MI training both nationally and internationally with consistently high levels of satisfaction from participants.
Laurie Scheer (MA, DePaul University) is a writing mentor, professional speaker, and instructor for Continuing Studies. Her book

BECKY TARVER CHASE
Becky Tarver Chase (MA, UW-Madison) directs the English Language Program in Continuing Studies, providing courses in English as a Second Language (ESL) to adult learners. She also writes textbooks for people learning English worldwide in conjunction with National Geographic Learning.
Anne Terry is the director of international benefits at Hays Companies. Anne has more than 20 years of experience in the employee benefits industry, and specializes in assisting small and mid-sized multinational corporations manage their global benefit strategies.
Vivian Tomlinson trained at the University of Cape Town Ballet School, South Africa, before he became a principal dancer with the Wisconsin Ballet Company.
Molly Tomony (MA, ATR-BC, LPC) is currently a child and family therapist for the Rainbow Project in Madison, Wisconsin. She has taught art therapy and education for both the University of Wisconsin and Edgewood College, and has worked in several hospices, specializing in art therapy and grief work with children. Molly has extensive experience in running grief groups for both hospices and schools, having written manuals for running grief groups in elementary, middle and high school settings. She has also applied her art therapy talents to individuals with disabilities and is currently an art instructor for SALSO (Strong Artistic Ladies Speaking Out).
Robert Toomey (EdD, Edgewood College) is a program director with the UW-Madison, Division of Continuing Studies, where he works with leadership and management programs. Previously he worked in public service with several Wisconsin state government agencies in the areas of training and human resources. Robert also received a master's degree in servant leadership from Viterbo University.
Ridley Usherwood (MA, D.Min) has over 40 years of experience in education, teaching, research, and program design. He is currently grief support coordinator for Home Health United as well as a practicing marriage and family therapist, with a strong background in pastoral ministry and counseling. He has taught classes in multi-cultural studies at Edgewood College and was for 9 years the Director of the Intercultural Studies Program at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. Ridley has done work in South Korea, Brazil, Great Britain, Ghana, Germany, Argentina, the Philippines, Ecuador and Canada. He has also assisted in the development of Hope Africa University in Nairobi, Kenya.

Sharon M. Van Sluijs (MFA, University of Iowa) has taught grammar, writing, and literature since 1990. She has worked at UW Press, UW-Madison, Washburn University, and SUNY and has written and edited for a wide range of clients through her manuscript consulting business.
Guy Vanrensselaer (BS, UW-Madison) is the process improvement specialist for the City of Madison. He has been an instructor for the Wisconsin Certified Public Manager program for more than 20 years. He also provides consulting services to public and nonprofit organizations statewide.
Manuel Vellón has more than 40 years of experience as a professional percussionist and teacher. He's played locally and internationally with various groups and singers and is cofounder of Madison's Grupo Candela.
Paul Vosburgh (BA, UW-Madison) is a financial services career professional focusing on educating and helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals and dreams. As First Vice President-Wealth Management at UBS, he demystifies the financial world jargon in seminars for individuals and corporate clients.
Art Walaszek , MD is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the UW-Madison School of Medicine. He has extensive clinical experience in geriatric psychiatry and was named on the 2010 list of "Top Docs" in the Madison area.
Sarah White has written feature articles that appeared in venues ranging from Microsoft's bCentral portal for small business to the Credit Union National Association's Googolplex website for young people. Her areas of expertise include marketing, entrepreneurship, leadership, workplace skills, and consumer awareness. She taught for the University of Wisconsin-Superior and Wheelhouse Studios, and holds a journalism degree from Indiana University.
Jacy Whitehead is an English as a second language instructor and teacher trainer for teaching English as a foreign language certification. She has worked in a variety of environments including the Navajo Nation and Mato Grosso, Brazil. Locally, she has facilitated classes to empower service staff with English skills as well as supported international students working toward American university admission.
Doug Whittle (MFA, University of Florida) has led Continuing Studies educational tours to Egypt, Peru, Tanzania, Vietnam, Cambodia, and many other international destinations, as well as performing-arts and visual-arts travel experiences in North America.

Christine J. Widmayer (Chrissy) (MFA, George Mason University) is a PhD student in Folklore Studies at UW-Madison. She explores personal experience narrative in relation to family, immigrant, and women's folklore. She also has an MFA in creative writing, specializing in creative nonfiction.

Rebecca Williams Spindler (BA, UW-Madison) has written a three-book, award-winning YA series with her teen daughter for Little Creek Books. She has taught writing classes for Wisconsin Screenwriters Forum, UW-Madison Literary Fest, and the Southeast Wisconsin Book Festival, and is vice president of the Wisconsin Screenwriters Forum.
Janet Wood (MA, UW-Madison) is an experienced instructor of Italian for adults and a lifelong Italophile who has lived, studied, and traveled throughout Italy.
